At Viatris, our mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life starts at home. Our Washington, D.C. colleagues and members of the Viatris Executive Leadership Team came together with purpose and passion during Impact Week, an event that recognizes our anniversary, to give back in an effort to strengthen healthcare, education, and the communities where we live and work.
Impact Week was designed to celebrate the impact that our colleagues have on our industry, on our communities and – most importantly – on the patients we serve. The D.C. office chose to support Central Union Mission, which has served as a critical resource for the homeless population in the Washington metro area for more than 140 years. To date, the Mission has provided more than 62,000 bed nights of shelter in addition to distributing over $7 million worth of food resources.
This partnership with Central Union Mission is a part of our company’s initiative #BuildingHealtheirCommunites, which allows our local offices the chance to give back to their communities by supporting their neighbors. Colleagues assembled DonationPAKS -- non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.
We are Stronger Together when we come together to give back to our communities and to patients, as Viatris continues to build healthier communities for our homes and future.
